Midcon Receives Prestigious STAR Supplier Award
Midcon Cables Co. announced that Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] awarded Midcon with the STAR Supplier Facility award. This highly coveted award is given to a limited number of suppliers who distinguish themselves by meeting some of the most stringent performance criteria in the aerospace & defense industry.
Lockheed Martin introduced the STAR Supplier Program in 1999 to recognize "...world class performance by our suppliers" To receive this award, Midcon met the quality and delivery requirements based upon Lockheed Martin hardware delivered from Midcon's facility and by meeting additional evaluation criteria for quality, delivery, affordability, and management.
